The Kornbrenner's Journey: The Kornbrenner is more than just a pub – it's a piece of local history. A pub has been documented on what is now Neusser Straße since 1874. For generations, the Kornbrenner became a neighborhood meeting place – a place to celebrate, reunite, and socialize. The building owes its name to Theodor Töller, who operated a steam-powered grain distillery here, documented no later than 1910. A historical document still commemorates this special history. For decades, the Kornbrenner remained a true neighborhood living room – characterized by hospitality, Cologne's cozy atmosphere, and a close connection to the people. With the current owner, Stefanos Grigoriadis, this story continues in a modern way: with respect for tradition, Mediterranean influences, high-quality ingredients, and a constantly evolving seasonal menu. Because above all, the Kornbrenner should remain one thing: a place people love to return to.
